Intrigued by You

Intrigued by You

A Poem by Verneé

Lips I've never kissed
A smile I've never seen
Eyes refuse to look
Trapped within a dream
Touch I've never felt
A hand I've never held
Steps left untook
Lost and still I fell
Voice I've never heard
A laugh never born
Arms refuse to hug
A heart so forlorn
Embrace I've never had
A tongue I've never tasted
Words left unsaid
Another moment wasted
Love I've never shared
Emotions I never knew
But I refuse to walk away
Too intrigued by you
