A Poem by Sigyn

Teeter to Totter, to toddle around

Dance in the rain, but not to be found

Shimmering in windchimes, too fast to hear

Wipe away teardrops to make it all clear

She sings like a birdie upon the blue skies

Lost in the moment, hidden from eyes

Never again to make sense once more

Normality is a sin, a disease, a bore

If this poem makes sense, then you are like me

Lost in fantasy, busy is the bee

But if you do not understand a word I hum

Then by all means live a little

Get off your bum!

Not everything makes sense

Not everything plays a part

Not everything is perfect

That glows and showers sparks

Stop being judgemental

'Oh her grammer's all wrong'

Not everything is too short

Not everything is too long.

The emotion is everything

The thought is what matters

The love should be evident

(Always make sure of the latter)

So if I Teeter to Totter

If I toddle around

Notice my sanity

Is not to be found.

Cupcakes have sprinkles

Stars do they twinkle

And

     so

         do

             you.

Light and refreshing. This poem made me smile. We poets sure do take ourselves pretty seriously... you tell 'em!

I'm a little insane for you. Maybe a bit too insane. I write about supernatural beings. Whether this is vampires and werewolves, or demons and angels, believe me. The word 'normality' has no afflitati.. more..
