Le Masque

Le Masque

A Poem by Cameron

It is flawless,
Without compare.
You see me not,
I saw you there.
It is smooth,
With no mistake.
So you see me not,
Nor my heart break.
I wear no make up,
Nor silicone.
You leave me in pieces,
You leave me all alone.
Telling me reality,
Is better than the dream.
That life is so much better,
Than I make it seem.
I tell you everything,
But you never hear.
Never listening to me,
Crying out in fear.
My poor eyes,
In blue they bled.
As you leave me alone,
Leaving me for dead.

I like the mystery. The first part reminds me of "The Phantom of the Opera". It's cute! :)

Thanks and you know I never thought of that.

Actually, it's the title that first attracted me.
The view of a painting, a description of The Rape of Nan King, Little Big Horn, Berlin, and the Crucible of History.

Sorry I've been so scatter brained lately that writing is a bit impossible, also thanks to the lack of inspiration. Well I have some, but I'm still trying to develop it further to see if it will lead .. more..
