If You Knew the Truth

If You Knew the Truth

A Poem by Cameron
"

A brief look at life.

"
What you never see is what I feel,
The unrelenting lies that strive to become real.
My eyes are all you need to see,
To know what really happened to me.
The way I walked those avenues alone,
Holding all the memories of emptiness I'm shown.
So look into my eyes and build walls wide and tall,
So you hear me not a little, but not even at all.

I love how you said "avenues" instead of the common "streets". I love the concept of building walls and encasing the "self". This is very inspired. NIce!

This has that nice Creedence Clearwater Revival tone to it. Like a rare song on the b side no one knows about, just a select few.

About
Sorry I've been so scatter brained lately that writing is a bit impossible, also thanks to the lack of inspiration. Well I have some, but I'm still trying to develop it further to see if it will lead .. more..
