Strange Selenography

Strange Selenography

A Poem by VennelaMargame

Precious dusty-face, little wanton
With a walnut belly, wander,
Wander, stop and stand.
In western light, become a pale scarecrow,
In eastern dark, become a smoke-petaled shade-blossom,
Shining black and livid-lusty.
Yin and yang rolled in a ball,
I love you. How could I not?
Mud-snouted puppy, play and nip
At golden Mama's red shoes.
Orbit her sunny spangled dress
And let her swing you round and round.
Swing you, fling you, until you land
Amidst the moony grass and roll,
And roll and roll and roll.
