Your Photo Hangs On The Nail Of My Heart...

Your Photo Hangs On The Nail Of My Heart...

A Poem by VelvetRosetta
"

Closing the windows so your frame wont fall....Holding onto love...

"

Holding my breath, death seems so easy when you're far.

Swallowing the remains of past tense

Your name is framed, just as the photo I hang inside

My heart…

Come to me O’darling

Ravage me with the hook you hang upon.

The one that’s nailed to the walls of my heart

I close the windows so you won’t fall

The winds are brutal when you're far…

Curtains closed

Shades are drawn

No wind shall rattle you now

Safe inside the caves of my breast...

Your photo hangs on the nail of my heart...

J. I don't know what inspiration you have found as of late but your poetry is reflected in it and you rock!

Divine...sending up love-flairs to the one who is absent. Very nice...a poem truly expectant with love.

Nice work...
