Celebrity, Celebrity

Celebrity, Celebrity

A Poem by VelvetKissesXo
"

A personal poem about illusion vs reality in Hollywood amongst fans and people who can get behind the scenes.

"
Celebrity, celebrity, who are you?
In front of the fans, you are something new.
Celebrity, celebrity, what is your goal?
You walk around in sunglasses to hide your soul.
To them you are amazing, a star, to them you can do no wrong.
but to me you are nothing like you are in your songs.
Celebrity, celebrity, won't you show the real you?
You are far from everything that is sweet and true.
I would rather have fallen for a homeless man than you,
Celebrity, celebrity, you let the fame consume you.

Well done! I agree with these thoughts too since they seem to be proven true with so many who are famous.

Cool take on those famous celebrities. Although a lot may fight with you about this (because they are die hard fans), it's really good that you voiced out your opinions. I loved the rhymes and the flow. Good job. :)
