If I Died

A questioning poem...

If I died, would you cry? 

What if I committed suicide?

Everyday I try to vent to you, 

but you're always having more important things to do.

I always try to reach out to someone, 

but whenever I do, they're having too much fun.

I try to talk to my family, but they've always dealt with problems greater than me.

If I died, would you cry? If you say you would, have you ever wondered why?

You don't pay  any attention to me when I sigh, so why would that change once I died?

If I died, would you cry? What if I committed suicide?

Would you place the blame on me, that you didn't listen to my every plea?

You didn't care then, so why care now?

You wouldn't waste sincere tears on me if I died somehow.

I was invisible then, and I'm not wanted now, 

So please, don't cry for me, if I die somehow.

Very thought provoking! I love the flow. Your rhyming was effortless. But this piece is very sad! The idea of suicide is a very scary idea. I don't know if this piece is something personal or just a random poem that you decided to write. If it is personal, I hope you are able to find someone to talk to! This piece, even though sad, is really good and very WELL written! Great piece and take care!
