In Heaven or Hell?A Poem by VassDThat damned, elusive Pimpernel...Europe’s
brilliance, England’s fool That
one another found Each
other in the fortune’s spool And
in the heavens sound Europe’s
daughter, England’s son That rumor
tore apart Fear
and anger, love undone Pride
betrays the heart Europe’s
traitor, England’s David Together
fought the fight Deny,
accept, betrayal’s bid But hold
for virtue’s might Europe’s
lady, England’s lord Forever
loved, forevermore © 2012 VassDAuthor's Note
