They told us we would not last and we proved them wrong.

They said we had experienced too much pain and would never be able to reach our happy place, but we proved them wrong again.

They said once something shatters and falls apart as we did, we could never be able to put back together the pieces, so we sat for endless days and nights gluing every broken piece.

We mended ourselves, healed every bruise, every cut, because we knew nothing could make us not.

Yet they still doubted us and now here we are today.

We healed ourselves.

However, the cracks will always exist. The cracks will be nothing more but scars shown from the fights we have fought and overcome. From the times we almost drowned, but managed to reach the surface for air.

They say we will not make it, but we know we will. We will always keep going, until we drown, until we do not have a single breath left to take..
