The truth..A Story by Vassena“Completely innocent,” she said. “I did not do it,” she confirmed. “How could I think such horrendous things of her?” She asked. Her nose twitched. “Nothing but the truth,” I begged. “Every detail counts, this is your last chance,” I told her. “Can you not feel my loyalty?” She screamed. Her eyes wandered off. She nervously clenched her hands
together. “Loyalty?” I whispered. “Was it loyalty you felt so strongly as you left in the
middle of the night and went to his castle?” I questioned. “Was it loyalty you thought of when you knocked on his door
and undressed yourself up the stairs?” I pleaded. A tear dropped from her face. “Forgive me,” she whimpered. “How did you know?” she inquired. “Your body language, after that night, has never been easier
to read. The truth has set you free without you even knowing. Now my Queen, you
are as free as a slave is with no chains. Goodbye,” I finally replied. © 2016 VassenaAuthor's Note
