The Silent Girl

The Silent Girl

A Poem by Vasilees Sybissyl
"

This one is about not judging a book by its cover. About not making assumptions before knowing someone and their back story.

"
Her eyes were the ocean
With raging waves that fight
A battlefield inside her mind
Where all the unsaid words lie
And then her heart
So full of love
But guarded by walls high
Those lips of hers
Never uttering a word
For the battle raged on
In the loud mind that no one heard
'The Silent Girl' she was called
But little did they know
That her eye said it all -
She was trying to find herself

Are you sure this is your first? It's too good to be a first. I love it. I want to have a go at poetry but I don't think I'll be that good. I think I'll just stick with story writing. I guess I like it so much because I can see myself in it. This is so good for a first time.
