No One

i was happy writing this but its strangely sad...

I love the life that i was given
To see all the people here

To breathe the air that i do

To feel what its like...

This is the lie i live

I am crying on the inside

Tears that cover my heart
Clouding what it truly wants

 

Seeing all the people together

With someone they love

Knowing that this is something ill never have

After all this time, my heart has still not accepted it

 

It hurts
Dieing
Slowly

Drifting into nothing

 

No light to guide me
No love to show me
No one thats loved me
No one that wants to

Living a life alone is good
No chance to ruin a heart
No chance for mine to be hurt
No chance to mess up

The true pain is being alone
Never have been loved
Friends are fun
But love is what i seek

To be with
To hold
Someone to protect
Nothing like this exists for me

I live alone
I will die alone
No one there
No one that cares.

I love the poem Jake! I've already read this one, but I decided to read it again cause now I get to say more in a review! Woot! Lol, very excellent, and very sad towards the ending. I'm sure there's more than one person out in this world that feels that way. Once again, a great, very unique and life-related poem =P

I think everyone at one point in time or another feels the sadness and the loneliness of not having a love. Protecting your own heart so it won't be broken but crying on the inside---dying on the inside to have someone to love. Someone who will love and protect.. someone to wake up in the morning and fall asleep with at night. Thinking that we will never find a love that will be ours forever.

The heart doesn't allow for us to believe that we will never find a love.. because it knows that you should never say never. If there is to be a new day, then there will be a chance find your love. If you have never been loved, then once you find it.. you will know that it is infintely precious and be held on to.

I suppose the trick is to take the chance and allow your heart to be loved.. even if it means it could get broken.. because the rewards of finding the one you love is worth the risk.

Such a sad write.. but well done.
