A Must Read.A Poem by Vartika
*The Trend Is Disturbing*
As per the census of past few years the literacy rate of India has been reported as 74.02% with not much increment since then, followed by a rough hit on India's economy. The main root of national income is found to be our service sector that contribute more than 60% of GDP which holds majority of people being 'Youth' and with that we have a target of $5(.36) trillion economy. We are having multiple gigantic upcoming/ongoing projects in india like Bullet trains, world-one towers, trade corridors and I really hope they are sufficient to make a Better country in EVERY SENSE. After connecting 3-4 terminals what else are bullet trains upto in india...? Then What airways are going to feed us for...? Don't you think the focus has diverted on making rich class, a richer one and dumping the backward ones...? Don't you feel the half of the expenditure if spend on educating those man eaters or the underprivileged class then their hormonal thirst will somehow become controllable... Or completely nullifying those provoking sites and thrashing away the business of drugs by providing them some better source of income might be helpful...? Nevertheless, the greater mockery is our men are more educated than women with a rate of 81.3% and india stands on 65th position in crime rates. Well, I feel apart from aristocratic issues there are numerous serious concerns to be looked upon, be it degrading morality, drug hype, crime, illiteracy marking the headlines and as per the statistics literacy is the only source of our socio-economic progress and the only way to make india SAFER rather than SMARTER. The speed of bullet trains won't be reducing the rate of rape cases in india with that same speed neither that statue of unity will stand upon the bodies of drug promoters to crash them.Though, I strongly agree that India is one of the richest in terms of histories& heritage, a place where great saints took birth and tried to spread knowledge in favour of mankind. So, nobody is questioning the existing gestures for sculptures or remembrance gratitude but on the same ground there are many other crucial things to put forward. Our Media brings out the tsunami on a disturbing movie plot or on reality show format by viewing them on moral grounds then why not other problems are being rectified that precisely; It would be better if the focus find its way to grass root levels rather than bigger economy projects. The youth really need strict invigilation and their influence on indian society so as to vanish the era of Liberal Voyeurism and I am not sure if banning plastic would provide ease to climate change or not but providing moral education to all will surely help the stained & damaged indian economy. :-Vartika Shukla © 2019 VartikaReviews
