These weary feet

walk a worn out path

the green is grey

by murky waters

among the other

fading rays

Hollow and aching

untouched by the sun

caught in distortion

leaves out of season

time without reason

calls for caution

While the wind sighs

and whispers secrets

change set in motion

the waters foretold

and the trees of old

follows the notion

The mirror of life

spreading the light

it was always there

hiding in sight

sharing its might

without any care

So this timeless one

melds into hearts

touched by its kiss

and never the same

for what it became

life as it is
