Shooting StarA Poem by AksThis poem is about a shooting star and poet is asking boon from God.
I saw a shooting star at mid night,
Its glow went from side to side, It was sparkling and shiny, It was a star that was tiny, I closed my eyes and asked for many things, I of course didn't ask God to give me wings, I asked him to spread peace, And burden on people's shoulders to release, I asked him to show mercy on men, Who did wrong to me from one time to ten, I asked him to make everyone wise, And prevent people from people who are disguised, I asked God to enlighten our paths, And take away ill will whoever hath. © 2017 Aks |
