FrustrationA Poem by Savannah JubaIt's a poem about a child throwing a fit. My next project will be to illustrate it.Frustration Sometimes
I get so frustrated That
I can hardly speak My
mind goes blank, my head gets hot My
legs get very weak I
throw my things across the room I
ball my fists and roar I
stomp my feet with all my might And
then I slam my door I
punch my wall but not so hard That
I would make a hole I
won’t destroy the things I own ‘Cause
I have self-control Sometimes
I get so frustrated I
don’t know what to do I’m
starting to get tired of this I
need to think things through I
think about what upset me And
how I can calm down I
take one mighty deep breath in Let’s
turn this day around I’ll
start with cleaning up my mess I go to get the broom I’ll
sweep the floors, and wipe the walls I
need to clean my room I
put my toys back in the bin Back
where they each belong My
temper tantrum is over today Because
I am so strong So,
when you get so frustrated That
you just need to snap Take
a moment to take a deep breathe And
maybe take a nap © 2018 Savannah JubaFeatured Review
