6 Feet Underground

6 Feet Underground

A Poem by Vanity

It's about time.
He's finally gone, and now she should rest,
But h she's far from fine
Her sanity slipping, she won't past the test.

He's crying out, he's crying out
Nobody would listen
The she came around and pulled him up from the ground
She didn't know she'd get so tightly wrapped around his finger.
Oh, he's a brilliant manipulator.

The first time I stared into your eyes
I knew I would be forever hypnotized
To never let myself live without you.
Your pain would become my own,
Just another pound on my shoulder.
I had no idea the love we made was just one-sided

She's dying, she's dying
And nobody would listen
Then he came around and pulled her from the ground,
She didn't know he was just doing to dig her a grave.
Oh, he's such a heartless b*****d!

Now she's six feet under,
Her body trembling in fear,
Her heart full of regret, her face covered in tears.
But she won't deny she loved him,
She'd still go back to him if she could.
But she's six feet under and finally alone,
she should be at rest now that he's gone.
But as she breathed in her last bit of air,
Her only wish, her only care;
"I hope this makes you happy".

I actually really liked this. It captures this scene, this relationship very well. And its so common... This poem travels very well and definitely gets the story across. Nicely written.
