What is expression?
Feeling, engaging, emotions, action
Free flowing movement telling the story of my pain,
Showing my path to destruction with the things wrecking my brain
Loving the power of breathe feeding my spirit all that it can take
With my sight that's not much
Mixed emotions of my lack of compassion and love for my people
Dragging my feet toward change but wanting to be equal
I see the potential in the life of us all, I just want our poetry to sing so we can all stand tall
Let your life be your poem,
Sing your sufferings to bring others out
Express your misery to stop others from doubt
Move with grace and let your feelings shine
Using your poetry to help not only yourself but all of mankind
