Lonely

Lonely

A Story by Vanessa

It's irksone how the ebb of loneliness is healing to a battered soul. And when thelines make criss-crossed streaks across the water, it makes you feel alone. Yet somehow, you feel at one with whatever has brought you to a fate of resentment, jealousy, & lonelines. There had to be a reason for that dreaded angst when the black of closed eyes ismore welcoming than it should be. And you know that just before the dark, you saw a moon of golden silver behind your eyelids. But soon, the black closedyou in. You liked it. Maybe that's a sign.
