The Start Of My New Novel That I Hope To Finish PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REVIEW. PLEASE

The crunching of dry leaves against the thick ground in the empty soundless air gave away her position in my vast open woods. Mistake number 1: make no sound. I began to creep towards her, watching my every step making sure that no noise is to be made, in the distance I could see her pink dress even though she would be over a mile away. Mistake number two: never wear clothes that can be seen from afar eg, PINK!. I stood behind a thick tree, thick enough to shelter me from her view but not enough to obstruct my view of her, and pulled out my bow and holstered my arrow, aimed it at her heart but just as my fingers stretch to release it the pink girl disappeared into thin air. I turn in all directions but she’s nowhere to be seen and just as I begin to walk in the direction of where she disappeared from, something grabs my ankle and next thing I know I’m hanging upside down from a tree.

“MANIYA ACKERMAN PUT ME DOWN!” I look down, well up, but down? Nevermind. I look at the ground and see a thin figure in a pink dress with long blonde hair flowing over her shoulders smiling at me with her perfectly straight white teeth. Her green eyes stare at my limp upsidedown figure in amusement while I’m still dangling lifelessly from a branch I fear is minutes away from tearing from the tree.

“Ok fine, but you have to admit that was pretty funny” she says in her smooth, calming voice while trying her best not to collapse with laughter.

“I will not! That was totally unfair and you know it”

“It’s not my fault you haven’t found your gift yet, and to be fair you would have been mad at me if I had gone easier on you” My eyes stare daggers at her even though I know she’s right. “Don’t look at me like that, you know I’m right” I didn’t even have the energy to reply so I just walked away towards the small cabin we call home at the end of the woods near the fallen kingdom of Carrieltor. Carrieltor was one of the three kingdoms of power, until those three kingdoms declared war for the land (which we call The Great Loss) on our island, during The Great Loss the two currently reining kingdoms called Maetriell and Elkeerien banded together in an unexpected alliance and destroyed Carrieltor for their land, killing all the innocent men, women and children who called that kingdom their home. Maetriell, the kindom of riches is the closest kingdom to where we live, it’s around two weeks hike from here including the mountains, rivers and forrests you have to go through to get there. But on the other side of Cassierst, our country, is Elkeerien the kindom of peace, as far as we know.
