Hey, Mr. Reaper

Hey, Mr. Reaper

A Poem by Vampyrica1995

Hey, Mr. Reaper,

I no longer fear your visit

Nor do I fear your touch

Mr. Reaper,

Upon the day you come to visit

I shall not put up a fight

I will go along willingly

For after all,

You are just taking me to my family

To my eternity

Hey, Mr. Reaper,

All I ask of you

Is to notify me prior

So I may tidy up and ready my things

Let me know,

When the path goes from jagged to flat

When it goes from dark into light

Hey, Mr. Reaper,

I am ready and willing

For our journey into eternal peace
