In Loving MemoryA Poem by Vampyrica1995As I watch you lie in
your box, Tears stream down my
face, And through
cigarette's haze And alcohol's
delirium, I will be right next
to you soon enough. When we meet again
posthumously, Do not despair that I
have left life For I was already
slipping, And all I needed was
a push. Now, at the bottom of
the spiral, I can begin a new
life, An eternal life, A life with you Which is all I ever
wanted. I did what I did in a
hope to bring feeling to the numbness, Happiness to the
sorrow, Comfort to the pain. I did what I did in
loving memory. A loving memory of
you. So, my sweet, I await the day when
we meet again. We will meet in the
sempiternal, Then, with you by my
side, We may enjoy life
after death In loving memory of death
after life. © 2014 Vampyrica1995 |
