Leap of Faith

When I met you,

It was like I was standing on the edge of a cliff, with rapids below,

I could go back to him,

Or jump and take a chance with you.

Something outside my control was pulling me down,

I take one last look back and I take a leap of faith,

I am falling, falling hard and fast,

I can't help but think: Did I make the wrong decision?

The water is rushing towards me,

I see you smile at me,

And that's when I know,

I know I did the best thing,

I am close to the water now,

And I'm not even scared,

I hit the water,

And find myself safely in your arms.

Everyone feels safe in the arms of someone with whom making a love. A great write showing a dept of the water in the suite of kind words with love. The title is stunning here and poem's beautifully penned, i loved the theme you made, it's a great write made my day as well. Well done, a new art of love you defined.

This is a nice poem. The last four lines were like getting hit in the face, but with a popsicle. Surprising, but rewarding. The ending was just... amazing.

It seems a bit like you were trying to get the feel for how the piece was going to flow at the beginning and didn't quite catch on until the end. Maybe that's the style, I don't know. It just seems like your lines are all different lengths and such and it messes a little with the potency of the message (not sure you can even have potency in a message, but you get the point). I would recommend either trying to say the same thing with fewer words in those lines or cutting them in half.

But other than that tiny, tiny, thing that no one probably cares about besides me, it's a wonderful poem. One of the better ones I've read lately. Nice work.
