Painfully fake smile

Short i know Ill make it longer if anyone wants to hear the rest

Hear your name

So you turn around

Give a fake smile

You seem to hear every sound

 

 

It pains you to do this

They musnt know

The pain, the suffering

And this is so

 

Look into a mirror

while your alone

Sadness, anger

and confusion are shown

 

So you turn around

And you walk away

Only to deal with it

Another day

Very simple, but very powerful. I'd like to see the lines longer, but that's just me. It's completely not necessary to do so because this poem can stand on its own, but I would like to see more emotion coming through the words.
