Who is she?

Who is she?

A Poem by Vampiregirl

Look into a mirror

Tell me what you see

A little child

Staring back at me

What would she be doing here

And is she far from home

You dont say a word

For you do not look dumb

Now look into her eyes

And tell me what you see

A lot of fear and sadness

Theres more, what could it be?

A little speck of hope

Covered up by fear

Her little eyes

look like theyre going to tear

As the girl stands all alone

You seem to watch her grow

Her face changes

And then you know

The little girl

that you did see

You ask yourelf who was she

Then you answer: "me"

The flow in this one is pretty good, but I feel it's a little rough in the three stanza. And I read the word "tear" as in tear a piece of paper, not as in teardrop. It only took me a second to realize what it was, but might be something to note. I just felt that part didn't really have a sound feel (if that makes any sense). Anyway, besides that, I really like the emotion you portrayed here. It also goes along with one not being able to find oneself.
