Wonder of a nightmare

Wonder of a nightmare

A Poem by Vampiregirl

I close my eyes To fall asleep

Not a sound Not a peep

I see a door So far away

I get closer With nothing to say

The handle of it Is so ice cold

The room im in smells of mold

A screech A scream

A follower behind me Is what it seems

I try to run I try to hide

I am so scared I almost cry

The steps ar close now Oh so near

I am so Filled with fear

A little girl Dressed in white

She is such A pretty sight

She tells me to follow I do as im told

Im lead to a room Where I must be bold

A man enters the room He tells her to go

She gives me a sad look Then she says no

He gives her a smack Upon her cheek

She wants to fight back But she knows shes too weak

The man comes to me And gives me a glare

I will not look And i will not stare

The next thing I know The girl is dead

The blood is gushing From her head

The man comes for me As i awake

I get up And violently shake

I see the same thing Every night of my life

What does it mean? Should i carry a knife?

Until I do know, What this dream means

I just have to wonder, is just what it seems

You totally described really well how it must have felt like to be in a dream.

Good rhymes too, btw.
