I dunno. It was an assignment for English.

I have something to tell you now 

Tell me please 

I've broken an important vow. 

Im shaking at the knees. 

My heart belongs to someone else, i hope you understand.

No! Please! 

This has all gotten out of hand..

Put my tears to ease..

I'm sorry, please try to understand..

My heart aches. 

It wasn't meant to be.

My soul breaks..

There's other fish in the sea! 

I have nothing more to say. 

Forgive me? 

Maybe some other day. 

Author's Note

i hope the coloring is ok. Its an argument between a boy and a girl so i wanted the colors to be blue for boy and pink for girl :)

I really liked this, it's a conversation everyone has had or is going to have. However, I feel that the line "put my tears to ease" feels forced and seems like it's only used as a way to rhyme which kind of off-sets the rest of the poem, which flows nice and smooth. Overall, fantastic poem, great job!
