Played by the dark prince.

Played by the dark prince.

A Poem by Emily Jellybean :)
"

A journey of sorrow.

"
Broken and shattered
Torn and tattered
Lost and beaten
Hurt and weakened
Why must I go through all this pain?
From the sunny side to the dark dark rain
All to find what I've been waiting for..
Love and nothing more
I found you
and now I'm lost
For there is always a cost
A cost of pain and suffering
And wondering what tomorrow might bring
A sunny ray
Or another rainy day
Forgotten and lost
Tortured and tossed
Dead and rotting
Bloody and jotting
I have no soul; for I sold it to the dark prince
for a chance at love and 25 cents
He shook my hand and made a deal
His fingers were crossed,
and only time could reveal
He sent me on a journey to find you
I walked millions of miles until I reached the town of blues.
I found you there holding a flower
Your feelings for me quickly turned sour
You spat in my face and knocked me to the ground
There I quickly found
The pieces to my broken heart
I scooped them up and began to part
Only to find that I could not leave with something that didn't belong to me
So I left the shattered pieces in the bloody sea
Battered and burned
Choked and churned
Pitiful and scared
Heartless and without care

Emily, I am so sorry for the pain it sounds like you've had to endure. I suffered many, many years of abuse in my youth followed by more years of pain and heartache before finally healing. Now I have a truly wonderful, happy life. As long as there is a tomorrow, there is hope. You have expressed yourself well in your poetry.
