Paving a New Path

Just a little bit of a free write. I wrote it earlier in my head, and I'm just now copying it down. Always remember: Even if the world says you have to follow a path, never let it define you. BE YOU

So many roads

Some new 

Some old

Each path marks a different way

Each trail leads my feet a different way 

One dark and dim

The other bright and blinding 

Is this one full of grim?

Is this one forever binding? 

The mystery of each path is forever peaking my curiosity 

But if the cat ignored the calling, would it still be alive? 

Kicking a new path with pure ferocity 

I'll make a new path, 

even if the idea is a bit connive.
