Bliss

Bliss

A Poem by untoldtruth

I enter the room

My eyes automatically search for you

You are nowhere in sight

Oh! Wait, there you are

Standing, waiting for me

Your eyes locked on mine

Your hand reaches out

You beckon me to you

I slowly walk to you

Not wanting to seem to eager,

But I really just want to run up to you,

Grab on to you and not let you go

I’m halfway across the room now,

I see your face,

Illuminated by the colored lights shining from above

Your eyes a deep blue azure,

Your lips a deep ruby red,

Tilted up in the corners,

Showing how happy I make you,

Your hair,

So long,

The color of midnight

I finally reach you

Your arms wrap around me

And you hold me to you as if you would never let me go

I don’t want you to let me go

Tonight is our night

We are finally together, in public

We don’t care what anyone will think of us;

Two girls swaying together on the dance floor

We are in love,

Nothing can penetrate this bliss

When it is right. We know it. Poem is hopeful and beautiful. Life is a fair journey. Those who grasp to what they want and hold on. Their life will be better then those who held dreams and wasted them. Poem told a good story with a happy ending.
