Seperation

Seperation

A Poem by Vampaslick

Caught, found with red hands in the act,
Don't run, don't fight it's already lost.
Unexpected authorities have come to react,
For this crime comes with a deadly cost.

Friendships broken for that unconceived.
Was there a plan to this treason you lead?
After all the praise and help you received
The nurse who's aid was given now bleeds.

Yet still it cannot be done to accuse,
This love is strong both ways through.
Stealing what was lost for lustful muse,
A heart already broken seems fixed askew.

Taking what was mine behind a back turned with faith,
I still can't give up on you or all my hope is to waste.

I enjoyed the above lines. A interesting tale in the poem. I like the photo. Hard to tell enemy from friend sometimes. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

I liked this poem a lot! I thought the rhyming worked well and I thought you had some really good lines. My favorite one was "taking what was mine behind a back turned with faith." I think this is the strongest line in your poem, and I love the way it's worded. I think you could even open your piece with this line. The only other thing I could think to suggest is to add some concrete visuals to the piece. Show us some stuff. Other than that I thought this poem was done very well! :-)
