Lethargic and Peaceful

Lethargic and Peaceful

A Story by Jim

Time I wait, Time I stain. I sit and wait, time again. The peaceful black, the sleepy dreams. All make thier way into my thoughts time again. I sit and watch the daytime fantasies burst into tiny little flames, like stars against this inky blackness in my eyes. I melt away again, falling flawlessly into the into the pools of darkness in my dreams. All beckoning, all so alluring. I give in to thier sweet siren songs, beauty to my ears, nothing stops me from taking them in. I drift off to neverland. Clouds of dark shadows, sky of crimson color, all I can feel is like water. I open my eyes and breathe deep, taking in all the night I can. I drift off to neverland, arms open and mind realing. All my thoughts drift away, again to thier little fantasy world. I grasp trying to keep them in, but they slide and slip through the grips and creases of my fingers, just like wisps of smoke. Off they go as I watch them flutter and fly like tiny little butterflies. I float down, closing my eyes, begging for the release they give, giving my very soul to her....
