A Poem by Jim

You turn me on, then leave me stranded.

You bring me in, then shove me out the back.

You show me light, then hit the switch.
You show me warmth, then I have to get a jacket.
You hold my hand, then disappear.
You hug me, but then I lose the arms.
You kiss me, but then take away my breath.
You talk to me, but I can't hear the words.
You look at me with your eyes, then blink away.
You touch me gently, but then I feel the needles.
You show me your fearless, but then your terrified.
