At the break of dawnA Poem by Valery
And so strongly she walked through the night,
so fearless, gallant, nerves of steel. No gush of the wind, no howl of a wolf, could break her. Alone, in that strong shell of solitude she walked, so bravely under the hidden moon. Many a sound, flickering lights, noise; nothing wore her down. Twilight so gently, so softly, climbed on the trunk of the tree ahead. As the warmth of the morning spread through the silent morn, only the birds, with their wake up call, She felt her heart melt. Every packed feeling, bottled up tears, came flowing down, Sunrise. Everything she had ever known, she fell so hard, so strong, but so tender. Nature made her realize. © 2014 Valery |
