A poem for the 11 months together

I can't help but smile

At how your eyes

Seem to shine

The moon and sun

Forever caught in your irises

Your eyes forever

In the depths of

My heart

Singing and smiling

Past the end of dawn

And your voice

Oh just a whisper

I beg

For my tender lullaby

Sweet and Melodious...

How is is that

You can make me 

Pour sweet words 

Onto the page that

I write?

How is it that you

Know my weaknesses

And my flaws?

Yet you know

That you are spending

The rest of you're life

With them...

Why is it that you love me?

Whisper into my ear with your beautiful voice

And with your eyes so bright like diamond stars

And let your golden heart pour, 

As I refill yours with mine...
