       "Dancing Shadows"

 

In the silence of the room,

Dancing shadows seem to loom.

Bouncing off of the window shades,

Unaware of impressions that are made.

 

Lying tangled...upon the bed,

Listening to each word that is said.

Lover's voices...do openly express,

Love...warmth...and tenderness.

 

Shadows on the shade...quietly do,

A provacative dance, until the breeze is through.

As the sunlight...ebbs and fades,

Sweet oaths and promises...are lovingly made.

 

The dancing shadows...delight their souls,

Warm the heart...completing the whole.

Pictures of  love...in the warm summertime,

Enjoying the hours...as passion unwinds.

 

Shadowy dancers...on the window shade,

Silent witnesses..to promises that are made.

Youth and dreams...and perfect bliss;

Things in old age, that they will miss.

 

Finding that lovers...have their own rythm too,

Still, the dark shades shadows...does its dance for you.

you Brat amazes me how do you write thusly? you present such lovely loving scenes here it makes me wonder are yoi angel or devil perhaps a bit of both?

You have described the scenes so well that I feel as if I have been tucked away with one of the shadows, and have just seen it all unfold!..right there with the dark shade shadows and the lovers!
I like the way it all flowed from scene to scene...nice job!!
