Pain returned,

That I know.

All I can offer.

Yet pain may come

In its presence...

The only person who should be given a whole heart is Jesus otherwise humans however good they are will somehow cause us pain when we fully give them our hearts. I have learnt better and i know better.

Once bitten never really covers it, does it? We get bit, and bit and bit again, until there is nothing left to give and we become the mask that we have seen so many times in others, but understand for the first time. Maybe a little play from fate, having this one at the top of my reading list this morning :)

This is truly magik and stuck a cord on a deep level, and had brought up all the memories of why I have grown so cold and why I am so reluctant to offer my heart anymore. More damage may be done...not to myself, but to others.
