Sunlight streaking

Into the room.

Outside...flowers

All in bloom.

 

Warmth on the floor,

Where babies play;

In the sunbeam...

Passion once layed.

 

Sunbeam's passion,

Love in bloom;

Held so close,

Warmth in the room.

 

Baby's sunny face,

Eyes all aglow...

Sun's reward,

For warmth bestowed.

what a treat to be there in that room ...that 3rd verse is especially fine to me ...the personification of the sun and its warmth wraps around me ..enjoyed reading this very much! i wasn't sure where it would end ...thought for a moment it might end with abandonment of some kind ...glad you have left me with the image of that sunny face :)

Great images and very easy to read. You seem to break sentences in have to make the pome. The first two lines seem to come from one. It does not distract form the work and in many ways help the flow. I like this alot.
