Eyes that sparkle, in the sun,

When another day is done.

Smiles that light up...the whole sky,

And the heart stops...to wonder why.

 

One face can bring, such joy and bliss;

With just the touch, of one sweet kiss.

A gentle heart...that brings such peace;

"Hope", that tells all fear to...cease.

 

Lips that speak, of tomorrows dreams;

The promise that...each kiss brings.

Once in a lifetime this love comes along,

To a heart that is...gentle...yet strong.

 

Open up your life, to accept God's gift...

As love's heart opens, to all life has missed.

This piece has all the hallmarks of a poem of love, and runs a scheme of rhyme that is attentive.
The extensive use of punctuation does affect the flow, perhaps not to the benefit of the understanding or enjoyment of the work.
The last two lines could have two lines added to them, which would allow the full extension of the underlying theme, hinted at in those lines. The last two lines could also be removed, the sacrifice clarifying the theme. Either choice could create a stronger work, and would even out the line and stanza count.
