"God's Gifts"A Poem by Valentine
"God's Gifts" Are people to blind to see,
The best things in life are free?
Money cannot insure piece of mind...
Or other things in life we find.
The innocence on a child's face,
The passion in a warm embrace;
The laughter of children in the park...
Things lovers do...after dark.
The beauty in a warm sunrise...
The rise and fall of ocean's tides,
The glorious setting of the sun
When another day on earth...is done.
The mixture of colors in autum's trees,
The forest's animals, the birds and bees.
So much beauty in a single rose...
Flower's scents that tickle the nose.
Mountains reaching up to touch the sky,
Rolling hills...the plains...and things that fly.
Wheat fields waving in the summer breeze,
The wonderous odor of flowering trees.
So many wonders for ...you and me;
Thank You God...for all of the beauty I see.
