Please willow...do not weep for me.
Just spread your branches and let me see,
The sun shine upon your willowy limbs.
As you do your good-bye dance for him
Then enfold me...and hold me tight;
That through your waving leaves, I just might;
See sunbeams dance...and gracefully...
Sweetly smile...as love walks peacefully...
Away from me and your willowy limbs.
Please willow...just wave good-bye,
And do not let me... weep for him.
How to maintain such melancholy in your writings? You every poem made to think about life and this world. As a poem it is very very nice that is filled with true emotions. I much like emotional writings not because of I am emotional but I learn some new experiences form them. Nice job. Keep writing. Thanks for sharing. :-)
You have just reminded me that I forgot all about these. I can't remember the last time I saw one. I shall endeavour to seek one out :)
A beautifully painted picture of nature and it's brilliance Kathie.
I see this is an older poem. I like this. The format is good, with a good flow and an intriguing image with the willow. Well done.

Some like the nature ones, others the love ones, still others the reference to Christ. Me, I just put down on paper what comes into my head. I have no format, I am nor a studied writer. Kathie
this is beautiful. the music playing right now is perfect for this. it really takes me there, like I'm under that tree. it's thoughtful. it makes me thoughtful I mean.
