Try to recapture

just what is needed,

to help me make

my life again whole.

Will you let old

memories walk

slowly through your

heart and your mind.

Uncover pictures

of the bliss

and heaven found

in sweet olden times.

Please let me

take a few

moments to bask

in the distant past.

The long days before

our love fell apart

with no chance

to ever last!

Just what would it take,

to reach inside of

your  heart

and reach your soul?

Find the broken

pieces needed

to make our lives

again whole.
