New Yearr's ResolutionsA Poem by Valentine
New Years Resolutions
As another year comes to a close, I sit here feeling sad and morose. Last year I promised, so much to do, Well...all of those resolutions, fell through. Lets see, lose a few pounds and exercise more, Go outside and garden and do more needy chores. The year has passed and what do I see? There is at least... ten pounds more of me. All of those promises...they did seem sound, I had time to do them, but I let myself down. Now it is time to start a brand new slate, Things I wish to accomplish before its to late. Definitely lose ten pounds, and exercise more; Spend much more time... out of doors. Help the old folks and make sure that I do, Things for the poor and disabled... too. Teach some one to read, that sounds good. If I monitor my time, I know that I could. Well, I see that my list , could go on and on; Get these things done, the weight will be gone. Now just to get the energy to get off the couch; Or in 2018, I'll be bigger than a house. Valentine © 2017 ValentineAuthor's Note
