A KingA Poem by ValentineA King They cried for a King; He sent a Lamb, One that would love me, just as I am, They cried for a Savior, A redeemer was born, In a starlit stable early Christmas morn. They cried for a King; He sent a "babe," One that would save, the world He made. He came down from Heaven, giving up a crown; He loved us so much, as a baby He came down. To dwell in the world...in human form;' They cried for a King, but a child was born. Mary and Joseph, "no room in the inn." Born in a stable, yet He absorbed all our sins. God's only Son, came down to this earth; Born of a virgin, it was a miraculous birth. They cried for a King: A Savior was born; In a starlit stable, early Christmas morn. God loved us so much, He sent down His Son, To walk beside us, until earth's battle is won. Valentine God's only Son © 2016 ValentineAuthor's Note
