When Hope DepartsA Poem by ValentineWhen Hope Departs Memories scatter into the wind... Leaving naught where they have been. Truth disappears...in the lies, That often comes, before... goodbye. Shattered lives...shattered years, Pain and heartache amidst the tears. Lies that flow off of the tongue, Leaving a heart...and soul so numb. Trying to recall some better times, Impossible...as the heart does find. The past is much harder to wish to recall, When sad words have... erased it all. Valentine © 2016 ValentineReviews
