Of all of the words,

That could have been said;

Those repeated...

Left this heart dead.

Now...words are spoken,

To unthaw my heart,

They come much to late;

To give love a start.

You had your chance;

And...you blew it!

Perhaps in time...

You will get through it.

You say you spoke in haste;

Gee...what a waste!

Gee is such a multiple use word as if is the largest word in respect that it could make the difference in so many ways.Gee I wonder if one could be rejected in haste as speaking too hastily. Gee we may never know nicely penned Valentine I think we all need to slow down and stop acting hastily

I learned what gee meant before I learned to talk. (my grandfather drove a delivery wagon and took me along for company.
