"Valentine's Thoughts"

 

When you love someone enough,

to ...give them a major part of yourself;

Ache when they are hurting,

and cry at their sadness.

Do not despair,

you are doing your best.

Just try to remember...

Heaven is not reached

by works alone.

Jesus is there for all who are...

willing to seek Him.

Often Christ is your only reward,

for having had to

"serve time" on earth.

Flowers are free in Heaven,

but costly on earth.

Take the time to smell

the roses.

What you are thinking is, oh so true! Christ and Heaven are the the rewards for the time that we spend learning to serve while here on Earth. We must take the time to smell the flowers and learn to serve our peers that are also in the service to our Lord.

No we don't. I told my wife. I have 300 plus shots from the Army. Memory going away. We need to enjoy the good days and be prepared.
