          "Silk, Satin...and Lace"

 

Hands soft as silk...against my skin,

Recurring memories,of, what might have been.

Whispy patterns of...silk and lace,

A lover's hands that slowly trace,

Intricate patterns, upon the face.

A fluttering hearts...increased pace...

Tender kisses...upon the brow,

Teaching joys that only you know how...

 

To bring out...the best part of me,

Erasing all weakness...too blind to see.

Wrapped up in passions, blistfulness,

Aching and longing...for your sweet caress.

Warm kisses, from a heart so cold;

Burning thoughts of love so bold.

A touch that removes...all thoughts of pain,

An ache to feel...all of this again.

 

Blinded by the smile, upon your face,

And memories of...silk, satin and lace.

Thoughts of all, I felt...and how;

You tenderly spoke and made each vow.

Golden memories, of a sweet yesterday,

Wishing that love, had not gone away.

Longing for love...time can't replace,

To enfold me in...silk, satin and lace.

very romantic ... soft and touches me heart and mind ...."A fluttering hearts...increased pace..." do you mean A heart's .. or Hearts (plural) ?

"Warm kisses, from a heart so cold;" ... its a dangerous situation to reminisce in such a way ... can cause a person to accept that "other" back to have another go .. usually never works out .. ;}
that line is such a subtle turn .. makes your poem unique ... so well done says i! :) someone from me own pass fits such a bill ... a bill i do not want to pay again :)
