"Wings"

"Wings"

A Poem by Valentine

    "Wings"

If love had wings

It would fly

To your door;

Seeking entrance...

To offer itself

And so much more.

It would

Shyly knock...

Take one look

At your face,

Offer itself...

To all old fears

And tears

Finally erase.

If love

Had wings,

It would come...

Straight to you,

Climb into

Your heart...

And stay...

All life through.

If only love had wings!  Valentine

It wouldn't surprise me if you did that. If I had her number I would tell her....Kathie
I love the whimsical feel to your words - love in flight...absolutely stunning!
